International b275 hydraulic lift arms

Hi/syd mai.....I am new to the farming forum,also to vintage tractors only had my first one 2 years (db 780) also recently international b275....so limited experience but learning quickly about them...my problem is with the hydraulic lift arms on the b275 they will not stay in the up position even without load.they lift a load no problem but soon go down ...is the lever supposed to stay up at the very top of drop about a inch once raised ?.cus if I hold it all the way up the arms stay up ,but soon as I let go it drops and the arms closely go down,,,any help and advice for a newbie much appreciated
