Hi/syd mai.....I am new to the farming forum, also to vintage tractors only had my first one 2 years (db 780) also recently international b275....so limited experience but learning quickly about them...my problem is with the hydraulic lift arms on the b275 they will not stay in the up position even without load.they lift a load no problem but soon go down ...is the lever supposed to stay up at the very top of drop about a inch once raised ?.cus if I hold it all the way up the arms stay up ,but soon as I let go it drops and the arms closely go down,,,any help and advice for a newbie much appreciated....p.s not sure where to post so posted in workshop projects aswell

The lever should stay wherever you put it and the arms should do the same. Perhaps the nut that holds the lever on needs tightening.
Depends which version. If it’s the basic hydraulics without draft control it will just be a lever operating a spool.

It will need vari touch with top link sensing to have a quadrant and position control

So basically lever up and down...as I explained the lever springs back down about inch or so that when arms drop...if I hold lever in top position the arms hols

I have raised the arms and closed isolation tap,it holds at top like that, if that works OK is there any reason why I can't just keep isolation valve closed.cheers
