International B275 seat

Hi
I've recently bought a 1959 International B275 to use around our smallholding. The previous owner must have been fairly short as the seat is in the most forward position. I'd like to avoid bashing my knees so would like to move it back.

There are clearly three positions for the seat and it should be possible to remove one of the hinge points, lift the seat off and move the whole lot back but at the moment I can't work out how to remove the hinge. Any suggestions?

it should have a bit of rubber tube in the middle of the pins, this holds the pins in place, pull the tube in the middle and bend it to get it out, remove pins to the inside, move seat, put pins back it from the inside, bend and push rubber pipe back on to hold pins in place

Do indeed have the tube and have had it off. However the pins don't seem to want to move at the moment. If there is no thread or a knack to it, I suspect they are rusted in.
