International front end loader

Recently purchased a International 444 with a front end loader, I have been told the loaders for internationals were made by a company called Hough who were taken over by
Quickie, the loader wasn't attached to the tractor when I purchased it and could not attach it because the clutch was stuck on the flywheel, however I have collected the loader and realised there are two pins missing that lock it on to the frame on the tractor.
We have searched the building were it was stored but cannot find them,
If any one on the forum could help me locate some replacement pins or if you have the same loader The model is 24-1 also fitted on a B-414 international, a photo of the pin would do and I could get some made. Thanks.

No photo, the pins sized to fit holes, then a 2 inch x 1 inch roughly round plate drilled off centre welded to pin to act as a cam to work againt the adjuster bolt head

that screwed into block welded into frame

Thanks for posting a reply, very informative I will get the local precision engineer to make them, he owes me a favour for cutting his grass

The pins are only to cam the loader back into place and hold it there, All the strain is taken by the locating pins faCING BACKWARDS And the 2 hooks at the front.
Watch out for the welding on the brackets, it can fail at the base of the upright plates.
Also the internal ram ends can come undone.

When removing loader, Unlock pins and cam the loader forwards untill the locating pins are clear, then dissconnect the quick release hyd pipe [ this effectively locks the rams from closing] put jacks into locating poiunts at front and lift an inch or so, then you can reverse out of loader

Thanks ever so much.

Here is a pin, they are both identical.

Bar is 3/4", long leg is about 350mm long (not critical, just needs to be long enough to get leverage, short enough to not hit anything else). Note that the bend is slightly less than 90 degrees to give some clearance for your knuckles, I measured it as 85 degrees.

Cam is a disc 3/4" thick, and about 68mm diameter, bar passes through off centre to give eccentric action.

Short leg is 85mm to cam.
