Ta on a 434?
I have seen a TA on a434 in 1977 when I worked at main IH dealer
It came in as partex against a new 454
The owner abused the TA and I remember splitting it at the gearbox and rear axle and removing TA
I can remember an IH service bulletin
saying how to do it but it was 43 years
ago but I remember welding up
epicyclic gears
That has got to be a very rare tractor

We have one that came with a TA. They were not very common, but it worked well enough for years. By 1998 though, it had become stuck in low and the dealers couldn't get parts, so I swapped the backend with a normal 8 gear from a 275. I think the TA box is still in the spares department. As well as the extra stick, it had a Tecalemit filter housing below the dashboard.

Asked the Question, but not for sale,
There is a BTD6 though that he would sell, with cab, supposed runner, in original condition that i can see, was stored undercover, but shed blew down in the gales.

What about the models after 434
By the way I am not picking fault with
what you say
I find the 674 is a very easy starter, but the 895 can be a pig on a cold day if the starter is at all sluggish. In the case of the old BD144 and 154s on the Bradford models, it was just how they were with the indirect injection engines of the time. Our old series Landie diesel was the same.

It would be a nice one for the collection
If it would of been for sale I would of thought 1-1500area depending upon viewing
It has the ta which is a nice extra but a thorn in the side aswel which can make them costly to repair/in bits for a long time...
Plenty of good original items on it too, certainly not a breaker by any stretch
Very nice to see thanks for sharing

I was referring to the models after the
434 but still using BD144+154 engines

354, 444, 374? 384? Trying to think of any more!!! converting them to 12v plugs makes ‘em start fairly easy though. I’ve got a worn one with sluggish starter that now starts with converted plugs.

I sold a 354 few years ago after rebuilding its engine, regret doing so now as prices are starting to creep up on them now! Ah well......
