Introduce Yourself

Good morning,
May I introduce myself and ask how I might best use the forum? I am a small scale amateur grower of a plant fruit/ flower crop on my allotment. Over the years I have started producing a commercial product. I am looking for people who could grow/supply more of this minority crop and even develop a production plant and tourist attraction.

So, I 'm looking to make some good contacts.

Hey.
When I joined this forum I never introduced myself really, kinda jumped right into the nitty gritty lol. Well here goes.... Hi I'm WBF, most may know me ;) for those who don't I am a buffalo farmer from Wales. Traditional, not commercial. I work with my 2 brother's and my mother and father in the family business. I help manage a small flock of pedigree Lleyn ewes (only just become full pedigree lol). Also help manage our herd of 60 head Mediterranean water buffalo. Working towards producing mozzarella on farm from the milk (along with other products too) watch this space! :) Chief calf rearer. Really into breeding for good genetic quality. Passionate about my job. That's me guys! Only ambition in life (many really, but only one to focus on) is to have a herd of elite milking buffalo, a flock of award winning sheep and award winning products both sides. This is what I work for ;)

Hello Richard.

Welcome to the TFF madhouse! :D

Horticultural crops aren't my thing but plenty on here will be able to help. Try posting in the general "cropping" forum, there should be a few in there with the right background.

If you get bored/are brave then have a dip into "off topic" as well but bee earned, it's often not for the faint hearted.

Oh and stay clear of the Brexit threads unless you're a real argumentative sort

I would welcome you but it's a bit late when you've already posted 916 messages :p:D
