Hello again. Used to post on the farming forum back in the day! This forum is probably the best source of unbias agricultural information around. I don't have a lot to say, but a lot to learn.
My name is George Ross and I have a croft called Heatherlea. My wife and I have about 600 hill north country cheviot ewes. Lairg is over the hill but we mainly sell at Dingwall.
Anyway look forward to putting more time aside over winter to enjoy the forum once again.
Cheers,
George

Hello

I'm Bryan farming is my family life. I've been helping them since I was 12.
We have farm animals and crops. I love taking care of animals.

Please excuse me in advance if I seem blunt or terse at times, or make spelling mistakes.
Welcome to the specialist spelling mistake club bryan, we even have our own grammer police force. We are experts in deciphering messages so you carry on (y)
It will be grand :D

And welcome along to all the new (and not so new) forum members.
I haven't formally introduced myself yet either, but I'm a few thousand posts too late for that :censored:
You will catch me mainly offering alternative ideas from the safety of the bottom bit of the bottom bit of New Zealand (y)
We run a smallholding, and work off farm as well, I have been involved in most forms of livestock farming, contracting, and I help with education/advice/financial planning services.

In my spare time I'm writing a book called "Why Would You Actually Do That?" that @holwellcourtfarm wasn't supposed to talk about  you'll find excerpts in most of my posts on here
