Hello ,Am a farmer from Kenya i recently bought a Johndeere 3050 tractor from UK.Just interested learning how to take care of UK Spec tractor of that model.
I have been farming for quite some time but on rented equipment, now i have my own.
Welcome along @Savanna Vympel , the 3050 is a good piece of kit.

Your biggest risk is using the wrong coolant leading to the cylinder liners becoming porous (leaking water into the engine oil and losing compression). John Deere tractors from the 40 series onwards should really only have the proper John Deere "Cool Guard" in the radiator.

As for oils @Phil P will know how critical they are.

Good luck and enjoy the forum.

Very well then.thanks for the tip i will let the mechanic know since we are doing the regular service in two weeks time.Could be the reason it has alot of black smoke when it revs up.

The usual, a free hand out of all shooting, hunting, fishing rights and to sleep with all your wives!!!!!

Not really, as I said, I have an interest in farming/countryside, I am 35 and live in the city, we want to get out and have no experience of any kind. I am a fabricator/welder working in sheet steel up to heavy gauge structural steel, maybe handy for some people.
