Hi @Woolfy, welcome to the madhouse

You won't be sick of me for at least another week, but it will happen
In case you haven't noticed @Woolfy our @Kiwi Pete is an eco-troll from the upside down end of the world :p:D

He likes to spend his spare time provoking a degree of debate on many matters here

(But He's actually a great bloke and an asset to TFF - Just don't tell him that) ;)

Hi guys. Complete novice to forums and farming, apart from a few sheep and hobby veg growing. I've just got hold of 100 acres class 3(1) land. Thought i'd throw myself in the deep end. Any suggestions as to best usage with it? Land has good drainage, well fenced and good hedge rows. Not livestock though. Any ideas very welcome!

You need to give us a few clues really. What part of the world are you in? What's growing on the land now? What are your interests (you won't do as well if you aren't really interested in what you produce)?

You'll get plenty of advice on here :)

Up in bonnie Scotland, in the borders. Its an old willow plantation. First step, clear the willow then i've no idea. I'd love to grow berries, blueberries ideally but I understand thats difficult here. Maybe honey berries. Any suggestions?
