Hello, I’ve been stalking, but want to come out.
I was a farm manager in the U.K. but I always wanted a place of my own. A long time ago I crashed a lecture on farming opportunities in France and Italy as a young farmer. So years later we borrowed more than we should have and moved to France

I am a fruit grower in the south, mainly stone fruit, but I’ve got some grapes and strawberries along with tomatoes etc. By accident we sell all pyo.

I have some ground PV which is coming on stream this summer, possibly the best crop, certainly the surest!

Hi all, I'm Dara from County Meath, Ireland, I'm a suckler farmer, started farming three years ago. I'm currently suckler farming with 70 Saler and Stabiliser cows, the dream is to go dairying.
Suckling has allowed me learn so much, I had never calved a cow before, no idea how to manage breeding and I have become fully absorbed into grass measuring and low input farming.
Plan to milk 140 kiwi cross cows on a low input system in spring 2022.

Hi Folks, I'm Feilim from Co. Louth Ireland. Not a farmer but spent a lot of my youth on Dairy & Beef farms. Fair interest in Organic farming, working with nature & country living. I help run a company manufacturing Grain mills of various types. I speak to farmers & contractors all day and i want to know more about what they look for in a machine.

Yeah useless at football after a scandalous decision by a ref, and gonna get humped out the door by Dublin in the next round:(

Makes a change from us getting humped. I used to love when Meath and Dublin were competitive, if only Meath had the population of 25% of the country, maybe we would be going for the 5 in a row.

Any videos of your mills working, our neighbour has a pto version and he mills a bit for us now and then.

Hello, I am Iwan a Dutch ag worker interested in farming. I grew up in and around tractors and the growth of vegtables and arable farming. I am currently studying bachelors degree Horticulture and Arable farming in the Netherlands.

I have mainly been reading on this forum since I am also interested in farming in other countries. I am also looking at an UK farm to do my (work)internship. So if anybody knows somebody who needs a qualified tractor driver/allround farm worker this summer let me know!

Hello all, I feel a bit of a fraud as I'm in no way a farmer but have recently bought just under 5 acres for my horses (sorry!) and am struggling managing the grazing so I've joined to ask for some help and advice.
I'm in West Sussex but can't work out how to set my location on my profile

Welcome aboard @JennBags

If you ask grass management questions they are probably best posted in the "Livestock and forage" forum. Some folk on here will give you a hard time as a "horsey type" but if you ignore that you'll get some good advice too.
