I've posted a few times before, I have a mixed farm between Bedale and Ripon North Yorks. Mainly fatten cattle and a few store lambs, Feed most of my cereals.

All depends when/how we actually leave (NOT a call for more Br3xit discussion in THIS thread ). Could be good or bad....

I intend staying in beef, just managing our costs better.

I think that what a lot of us find funny is the hysterical way certain people think that the sky will fall in, and Britain will be plagued with droughts, agues, and slaughter of the first borns next month, if we leave the EU. They are incredulous that anyone would want to return to that, and not flee to the sunny paradise that is Anywhere-But-The-UK!
Glad you have faith in the Mother country, and welcome back, when you get here!

Thank you Bovrill. I have no qualms about returning to the Mother Land. It was my home, is my home, and will always be my home. I don’t worry about brexit, and what will or won’t happen if, or when we leave the EU. We survived without it, we survived with it, and we’ll no doubt survive without it again.
As long as I have my health, can look after my wife, have a roof over our heads, and food in the cupboard, we are happy.
Life is not all about money.......

Returning is not "funny", it's just the timing. I'd be waiting fit some clarity what happens here either way first. UK farming needs certainty of whatever sort. It's impossible to plan a business properly here at the moment.
