Has anyone used the above download which is said to improve your PC's performance?

Toshiba keeps telling me I need it for my laptop.

I've just run the free system check and surprise, surprise, it's found lots of 'issues'. Costs 'only' £24/yr for Tosh owners.....

After a quick read up on it, it seems to do pretty much the same thing as CCleaner.
The free version of CCleaner is more than adequate, I use it here an all machines.

Make sure you go for the free one.

CCleaner (free) is brilliant!

I ran CCleaner (free) and it cleared all but ~100 registry errors flagged up by System Mechanic. So yes they do appear to do much the same.

Run it again.
I find it sometimes takes several runs to clear all registry problems.
