iPad help

I uploaded pics ages ago to my iPad from laptop. All did to look at them in past was press photos and tr loads. Now I press it and photo screen comes up and the resets back to main screen on pad. Any ideas. Have my photos in it and not anywhere else :/

Oh dear! No backups! Not good!
However, try and see whether they are all in an album that you have inadvertently made within the Photos app. Albums should be listed as a tab across the bottom.
If that fails, try and remember something that was in one of the photos, like a cat, cow, or car, and do a search for it and see if something comes up.
