iPad/iPhone picture and link issues

Is it only me? When linking a picture using iPad using the photo button at the top of the text box the dialog for pasting the link jumps around and is virtually impossible to get text into it. If I mange it the link doesn’t appear in the post anyway. Using safari.

When posting photos from iPhone library using safari and upload button I find the little bar top right works for a while (30 secs) and the choose file box may or may not disappear on its own (this is confusing, do I press done or not?) but the picture doesn’t appear in the post.

Help please :scratchhead:

I find when loading pics from the iPhone it can take some time after the box in the top corner disappears for the pic to load. This mainly depends on internet speed. If ive got a slow connection it can take up to a minute after the little box disappears to load properly.
Can’t help the the text box jumping about though, sorry.

Thanks. My trouble is I have the phone on a short timeframe before it locks (two year old in the house!) so have to play with the screen to keep it alive. Or will it still upload when locked?

The Xenforo software running the forum is now struggling due to the updates to all the browsers that have happened. This is why we have already tested the upgrade to Xeforo 2 - which is much better on mobile and tablet. The plan to upgrade is in place, but we are waiting a couple of addons to have an upgrade path.

To answer @milkloss when loading a photo in this way, once you have selected the photo, you don;t have to close the box. The image should load below the post box, but you do have to press the "Full image" button to get it to appear in the post.

I think @milkloss means he gets stuck with this screen for quite some time after selecting the photo even though the loading box has disappeared from the top right corner.
I usually find that internet speed affects this massively, you sometimes think nothing is going to happen but if you click close the pic doesn’t load. Hope that explains it.

That’s it. I described as done but meant close. I’ll have another go.
