IPAD Safari not working anymore with TFF

point is everyone wants but no one wants to pay ?

all this stuff costs time and money and we don’t have unlimited amounts of either sadly

Would the revenue raised be worth the time, plus once we start paying, your opening yourselves up to a faultless service

Had this problem few months ago, just shut it down with the button by the camera. Then do a full on restart

Looks like this has worked, I had tried a reset just in settings but the button by the camera seems to have made the difference. Many ta's

everyone expects a faultless service even when they don't pay, you should read some of the emails and pm's we get !!


The app actually takes cash our of TFF both in running costs, software subs, apple and google store costs and as it doesn't show adds traffic using it is freeloading. As it's built and maintained by a 3rd party it's also very frustrating when people have issues that we cant fix it and have no control over that issue, it's annoying paying others for such crap service frankly

Based on the above would you spend your own money on providing it free for all?


Incidentally, since it was removed from the app store we have seen traffic levels rise! It really was/is very few that use it


We could build our own app (which I would like to) that solved many of the issues above but it would cost so we would have to charge for it .................. I'm not sure anyone would pay ?

That's a bit harsh to get messages like that on a free to use site, we should expect the odd glitch.

If its not cost effective then by all means end the app as far as I'm concerned, will just means I will have to access it via wifi only

Update: Jumped the gun here, next time I tried it the problem is back so will try a few things and report if successful.

I stopped using the app years ago. Poor functionality and the web based one works well on iOS apart from a lack of auto capitals when moving the cursor down a line below the reply box in a post. My original 8 year old iPad Air still works ok via Safari.
