Is anybody else really struggling with 2019 so far!?

Very unusual to just turn up in the yard?:shifty:

I’m assuming this person had the correct identification?:watching:

Normally they give notice by telephone.........unless you never answer.

Health and safety riot act, then insist on clean wellies and a clean vehicle and if not tell them to fudge off.

I would pay money to watch an inspector try to visit one of the chicken units around here: they would be shot.

Being positive. Have to be honest .2019 started well . Weather being kind enough, brain back in right place . Managed to buy a new well bred stock AA bull for reasonable money and changed the old pick up for something less s....y!
Previous 18 months were the worst period of my farming and private life.

Feel the pain of everyone in a slump right now, and I know it sounds twee, but good stuff does come back(y)(n)(n)

Found Grandad dead in the silage clamp on Monday so now trying to juggle looking after the farm and the business whilst various people are away, not the best start to the year.#

Condolences to you, your family and others affected, can’t be easy but try and take something from the fact he was out doing what he (hopefully) enjoyed doing and not restricted by ill health. We lost our dad 6 and 1/2 yrs ago through ill health, I’m sure he’d have been happier doing what he enjoyed upto the end.
