If it’s a Baikal 12g with hammers I would love it. Have been looking for a while but haven’t found one local.
Is the proposal to ban all lead shot, or just for shooting game, etc for human consumption.
Will it be still OK for clays?
If anyone has a nice, not quite worthless British sbs, that the trade are trying to steal, 2 3/4" chambered, I'd welcome a pm.
I've got a Browning u/o and can't shoot for shite with it, I've never shot better than with the old Gallyon sbs I bought whilst still at school, but which sadly is not now usable.
Well there was a news story a couple of weeks ago, probably sponsored by antis, admittedly, but concerned lead contamination in supermarket bought game.
I have used a 28 bore for a number of years ou. Pay a bit more for a good cartridge load and you might just surprise yourself.!!!Daft to swap guns if you shoot well with 1 you got.
I been trying a 28 bore, just can not get on with it. Pigeons laugh at me..
My neighbours shoots with a 28g. To watch him it’s magical. He very rarely misses. He say the light weight means he can be consistent all day long.I have used a 28 bore for a number of years ou. Pay a bit more for a good cartridge load and you might just surprise yourself.!!!
I am currently using Hull High Pheasant,23 gramme,6 shot fibre wad, seem to suit my 28 bore Beretta o.k.21g 6s was biggest i could find
I think they’ve had steel shot in the US for many years, at least in some areas or StatesIs it only us that will have too switch from Lead to Steel?
I was looking up some stuff in the USA about Charles Boswell guns (now made by Chris Batha in Connecticut) and there was no mention of Steel v Lead there.
So, I’m wondering if Old English SbS’s would have a better market there.
I’m no expert but would you not be better putting that weight load through a 20bore? Would the pattern not be better?I am currently using Hull High Pheasant,23 gramme,6 shot fibre wad, seem to suit my 28 bore Beretta o.k.
