Well, I suppose there’s no football to riot at ?‍♂️

Ah but you’re wrong.

There is some outfit called Democratic Lads Football Alliance - an umbrella outfit for various football club “firms” that has vowed to protect statues and other monuments against the leftie rioters

Basically a far right organisation looking for a bit of violence

It would seem from the last few days that lots of folk think some things are more important than not dying from or not killing someone else by giving them CV, so they obviously don't give a sh!t anyway

Interesting question (to which I already know the answer) ..

Who thinks that if Johnson had sacked Cummings, there would have been no protests?

Well done for raising this thread-

Would love to understand how the Boris fans on here think he's handled this well to date-
Been a shambles since day one

Today takes the biscuit, give up the rushed out schools to open plan that wasn't thought through, but throw open the zoos and theme parks instead - wtf?
What are they doing about the NHS getting back up to speed in matters non covid ffs.

I'm not sure he will enlighten us much this evening, other than spread further confusion

Sorry, rant over, I need a proper pint!

“I need a proper pint”

Got that one wrong too. Most pubs won’t be able to open until at least July ... and who’s going to sit in a beer garden when it’s hosing down and cold?

Judge for yourself:

Somewhere in the region of 4000 dead, around 1861 of those in care homes. Lots of evidence from survivors in the media that they were admitted to hospital with non covid issues but dumped in wards with covid patients, before being returned to care homes to pass on the virus.

The numbers and scenarios are glaringly similar to the UK per 100,000 population as a whole, but thats no apology to the families of the dead. Trying to deflect attention from the devolved Scottish administration to Boris and the UK wide death rate is utterly contemptible.

National Records of Scotland
Coronavirus deaths by setting
  • 47% in care homes
  • 44% in hospitals
  • 8% at home or in non-institutional setting
  • 1% in other institutions
The figures show that as of June 7 there had been 1,861 deaths in care homes when Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate, higher than the 1,854 fatalities in hospitals.

Shunting people out of hospital as quickly as possible and into care homes without any testing of those being admitted or PPE for those working in them to lessen the spread had been the single biggest factor in the UK death figures.

Had they got those things in place first the overall death toll would have been greatly reduced.
What I never see mentioned in the media witch hunt is that over half of people in care homes are in their last year of life.
Mix those with the rest of the residents who by the mere fact they are in there are generally in pretty poor health it is little wonder so many in that setting have succumbed to the virus.

I would have thought opening the zoo's was reasonably safe, mostly outside and if folk are sensible and keep a distance apart
much safer than going to the supermarket or a riot

Also with SoE powers Johnson could have stopped these protests at a stroke (never minding the counter protests scheduled for this coming weekend at the behest of Tommy Robinson)

And if he did stamp down hard and we had more serious riots - you would be one of the first to come straight on here saying how wrong he was...
