is doing nothing bad then ?Is Boris Johnson our Nero?
If you think he's showing poor leadership, just look north of the Border.
'Old Nicki' moans that Boris is doing nothing, then waits for two weeks to do her own gold plated version of SFA.
It has to be asked as I see precious little evidence of leadership from him. All I see is a government that flip flops from one idea to the next and then reverse ferrets pdq.
He MUST get a grip and soon

and yet there are those that shout from the roof tops that both boris and nick done to much and country will be on its arse for years and more will be dead owing to doing something than doing nothing, so I don't know, I wouldn't have wanted to be in charge that's for sureJudge for yourself:
Somewhere in the region of 4000 dead, around 1861 of those in care homes. Lots of evidence from survivors in the media that they were admitted to hospital with non covid issues but dumped in wards with covid patients, before being returned to care homes to pass on the virus.
The numbers and scenarios are glaringly similar to the UK per 100,000 population as a whole, but thats no apology to the families of the dead. Trying to deflect attention from the devolved Scottish administration to Boris and the UK wide death rate is utterly contemptible.
National Records of Scotland
Coronavirus deaths by setting
The figures show that as of June 7 there had been 1,861 deaths in care homes when Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate, higher than the 1,854 fatalities in hospitals.
- 47% in care homes
- 44% in hospitals
- 8% at home or in non-institutional setting
- 1% in other institutions
Whilst we would all agree that hindsight is .. er .. 2020, as soon as it was evident it was coming our way, the UK government should have declared a State of Emergency with the necessary legislation to override devolved governments. Now we have the ludicrous situation of dentists not being allowed to practice in Wales until 2021 whilst their English counterparts can start up next week to give just one example
Also with SoE powers Johnson could have stopped these protests at a stroke (never minding the counter protests scheduled for this coming weekend at the behest of Tommy Robinson)
if you need a filling those home filling kits are quite good, the fecking thing gave me some jip for a few days thoughWhilst we would all agree that hindsight is .. er .. 2020, as soon as it was evident it was coming our way, the UK government should have declared a State of Emergency with the necessary legislation to override devolved governments.
