Is front suspension needed in a 40k tractor?

Yes, a no brainer if you’re doing any speed over 30k.

I immediately notice if it’s switched off on the road. It’s supposed to be better for traction in high draft work also.

what brand are you thinking of, i loved a claas and fendt and deutz. just not as nice or noticable in our case. depends on brand jd meant to be good

Agree about brand difference having huge effect on how beneficial they are.
Have found Valtra one way more effective than MF travelling on same roads with us.
