  1. I brought a years subscription to RTX Rangepoint on 23rd July and still don't have an activiation code. I must have sent 8 emails as I cant get through on the phone. Last I heard they were going to check payment.
How do I get an activation code ffs?

    Cheers

Did you buy via the website?

But yes, i’ve sometimes found them hard to deal with. Never phone them either as mega money number.

  7. I just used the email address off their website. They sent me a pro forma invoice, then they seem to have gone on strike.

  8. Emailed them eu-corrections etc.

Ah I see. Website online store is a bit easier.

  10. Unfortunately as @Steevo says because you didn't use the e-commerce site (Trimble Store) to order the correction, the order may have fallen through the cracks so to speak, might be parked on someone's desk...and its August. No help now, but better in future to go via a dealer or the online store.

  11. If anyone struggles to find activation passcodes for 12 Months Trimble RangePoint RTX Subscriptions please give us a call on (01480) 861824 or drop us an e-mail: sales@ascommunications.co.uk with the serial number of your Trimble display or receiver as we can track these down with Trimble Positioning Services.

You can also order subscriptions from us directly at the same price as Trimble, we offer 12 Months Trimble RangePoint RTX Subscriptions at £265.00 ex VAT.

  12. Is this new 2cm accuracy RTX coming to the UK? Is it going to be part of the existing package?

    Centrepoint (£800ish), not Rangepoint. (£265)

  14. We can offer 12 Months Trimble CenterPoint RTX Subscriptions at £995.00 ex VAT, for this correction your Trimble display or receiver needs to be unlocked to intermediate accuracy.

We also offer 12 Months Trimble CenterPoint RTX Fast Subscriptions at £650.00 ex VAT, for this correction your Trimble display or receiver needs to be unlocked to high accuracy.

Trimble CenterPoint RTX correction is accurate to within 3.8 cm pass-to-pass accuracy, this is improving all of the time and often performs better than published in certain areas.

Standard convergence time for the correction is around 15 minutes, this is less than 5 minutes with RTX Fast.

  15. Got to the bottom of it eventually thanks to AS Communications and now have the activation code. (y)

Have always found in my dealings with @AS_Comms that they have given tip top service!

  17. I notice that you said that receivers need to unlocked to Intermediate accuracy for CenterPoint RTX and unlocked to high accuracy for CenterPoint RTX Fast.

Trimble announced in the press a few days ago that they can now achieve 2cm or better for CenterPoint RTX.

What’s not completely clear from the press release is if CentrePoint RTX Fast is going to see an equivalent betterment in its stated 4cm accuracy.

  18. Trimble CenterPoint RTX Fast correction is a better version of standard Trimble CenterPoint RTX correction with faster convergence so would also see an increase in accuracy.

  19. OK cool. Odd then sub is quite a bit cheaper for RTX Fast than standard or is that a promo or is it to do with the fact that you presumably need a higher level of unlock (High vs Intermediate) for Fast?

  20. You do need a high accuracy unlock for Trimble CenterPoint RTX Fast correction which is partly why the subscription costs for this correction are cheaper than standard CenterPoint RTX correction even though this is a more premium correction.

Going forward more users will be using RTX Fast compared to the standard service so we can offer this out at a lower cost.
