Depends when you want to cut and how quick it grows. If its slow growing you will be ok . If its quick growing your hay , to put it bruntly will be crap . Sheep are still on here . You could see a mouse, just as i like the fields . Be a nice crop of quality product to cut in the last week of June . Ive booked the sunshine ready. There is more crap hay grown than ever made

Yes mines all on yesterday, loads out here doing the same,
been mild, so the grass is growing, a nice drop of rain now and it will fly

Yes, deffo need a drop, I can still see the N Sulphur on top after a week! Nitram has gone in, but not a lot growth after 9 days, probably because of -3C nightime temps!!

Hay ground will be eaten off until late April, then stock moved and see what comes...

Normally high time it was put on yes. But, the weather is very dry and cold, and for this coming week more of the same.
So, leaving mine a week or so as it ain’t going to do much good until we have some warmer weather and showers.

At the risk of sounding as dear old Mr Godfrey might say, ‘rather crude and coarse’, it’s as dry and cold as a nun’s chuff at the moment.

But better than raining so we are all good
