Is spring finally on it's way?

Looking promising from next week.

However it's quite concerning to think we've got just over 6 months to plant our crops, grow them, harvest them and then finally plant next years crop so we don't end up in the same mess as this time.

As it's lashing down against the windows again.....!! I hope so, am getting bloody fed up with this weather, at least the days are getting out now though.

I am guilty as charged.
Many have complained about the weather from last September, my line had been, dont worry there is plenty of time between now and February to get crops in. Being an optimist has not been concurrent with the weather over the last 6 months!
Wonder if the landlord will forgo the rent as haven't done anything, bar sneak some watery slurry out, since last rent payment.

2013 this weel we had wet snow and cold damp week
by April 3 we started drilling then drilled every day till 29 April
this included 300 acres of wheat that we decided to replant on the 16 April seed delivered in under a week
an 8 m drill planted a1800 acres and we had a harvest
with that experience I could now drill the same area in 16 drilling days if the weather was dry enough
I have learnt that patience is the most profitable skill and trumps every thing else

Will you help clear snow?
