I have been hedge trimming today on my OWN land.
One neighbour phoned up my wife and left a SH#tty message moaning that I was hedge trimming on a Sunday and making a noise and I shouldn't have started at 7am!!!!! Probably 500+ metres away from there place that's hidden in trees.
Another filmed me via their phone trimming "MY" boundary hedge to them for approximately half an hour and he was pee'd right up (drunk)as is a normal Sunday for him.
What's the matter with people?????

Yes and going to get worse, don’t work on sundays, don’t work at night, don’t make to much noise, don’t make a bad smell, don’t drive on the road with tractors, don’t have bright lights at night, don’t dirty the road, don’t let your cows moo at night, don’t build anything in their view, don’t scare their horses on the road, don’t ask them to stick to foot paths, don’t ask them to lift their dog’s crap , don’t drive on their grass verge , even though it’s not theirs. Mind you round here farmers didn’t help themselves, sold building sites in every gap in the hedge and then some, you’re never more than a few metres from a house round here. My door gets knocked regularily, there’s a baby calf lying on its own at the fence or your cows look like they might be trying to get out or the one that pisses me off most “ your cattle/ sheep are out “ when they aren’t mine, apparently I own every sheep and cow for 10 miles around .

Wasters out there.
Tell you what you can and can not do on your own land?
Blackberry pickers ?
Won't like it if you went into their garden and picked stuff ?
List goes on and on.

Was there a desperate need to be out at 7 am ?
I think both parties need to get a life
It wasn't 3am like Fridays start. I have things that need doing and enjoy working and like to get it done. Baling this autumn as been a bain of my life as it won't stop or carting bales. Muck to get spread before the deadline, and a new dairy complex being built, slurry pit to be dug and hundreds of hours of trimming to get done and knowing ground will shortly get too wet to move on so what's the big deal in using daylight before clocks change and DRY weather????
