Had n’t seen that however to the BBC other donors were the Foreign and Commonwealth Office . The Department of international Development both UK Government agencies also the European Commission. The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and the British Council. I suppose as he is handling out a lot of money his opinion is probably more important than you and I plus even though he has no medical background I bet he knows plenty of people who do have a medical background.Probably employs a lot of them.

Much of the present practices to try and reduce the spread of Covid should have been practiced years ago; catch it bin it, practice better hand hygiene, and avoid crowded areas during the annual influenza seasons; perhaps more so by us elderly!

There is nobody because we haven't had to have decent politicians while in the EU as they were just told what to do. There will have to be a new breed who can actually step up and run a country and not just be there because they have family / education / business / crime connections.

Which previous PMs or cabinet members do you think have been or are there because of family/education/business connections? No Labour ones i can think of at all. Since Tony Blair we have seen a type of smooth politician whose aim is to be re-elected rather than to act as a statesman and make difficult decisions and upset people for the good of the country. It’s all about sound bites and big grins. We are unlikely to see a Margaret Thatcher type with a big plan that they are going implement come hell or high water

Well, since Labour have been rarely elected for most of the last 100 years and the only time they did well was as a fake Tory party, that's a tough one to answer.

When you have already decided that you wont be getting vaccinated and accept that this means you will probably eventually get covid at some point. It makes the whole circus of the last 6 months pretty pointless as far as your own health goes.

My own parents dont seem to keen on a vaccine either and that goes for many people ive met.
