I think you will find now is as good a time as any to leave on wto rules ,the economy is going to be in a hole so leaving wont make it much worse
Tend to agree with you it's now or never but hope our lot remember who supplies their food

Meanwhile under cover of the Covid government fudge up, the bold Mr. Gove, is giving lots of sweeteners to the EU.
Accepts formally that there will be a border in the Irish Sea. (The beginning of the end of the Union).
Accepts jurisdiction of EU customs officials to check goods and paperwork IN Northern Ireland.
Accepts that UK will accede to tarriffs on many goods.
Basically ..... Canada Plus agreement with many more concessions to the EU!!!
Teresa May, must be having a right old larf ......
Oh, the DUP and the Unionists in Ulster, who shafted Teresa, must now be crying in their Ulster Fry....

Where does it say that Barnier is panicking? I've never had any other impression that they wouldn't let us go without a deal and lose too much sleep over it, only regretting the time they wasted in trying to negotiate with us. They would rather have a deal ad continue trade but they just won't be allowed to concede much by some of the 27 members.

Switching from free trade to WTO, tariffs, checks etc is a barrier to trade, to impose that at a time when the economies need every possible opportunity would be ridiculous and could make the economic situation far worse than it already is.

Oh dear, perhaps the thread title should now be amended to -

Will the UK start to panic over the costs associated with leaving the EU?

Apart from the carefully handpicked yes men and women of the Cabinet, the news is starting to look a little grim. So much for a bonfire of red tape...

Starmer must be delighted with this. Boris men collecting stones, piling them carefully at Starmers feet ...... Well what’s a man to do, but pick them up one by one at PMQ time, and take careful aim.
Not all at once mind!! Gotta pace this out. Keep the bad news on the front pages over the longest time possible.
