Is the system fighting back?

I find it rather concerning that a number of major organisations appear to be continuing "Project Fear".

I work for the NHS and our Trust "message" is now headlined by social media tags (#UnitedHospitalsofLeicester) or similar stuff and we are getting internal communications such as "What does Brexit mean for you?"

Yet nothing has happened, nothing has changed & Article 50 sits in a dusty cupboard somewhere.

I get the horrible feeling that "the system" will kick this can down the road (again!) and we will end up with some sort of Brexit lite or another referendum.

What are you doing to combat it? I appreciate you might have difficulty in doing anything within your own Trust (your job will be at risk for certain) but surely you can find ways and means to encourage those whose job is not at risk to do something. Or you could make an effort to put things straight via the local newspaper or other avenues.

If you do nothing then the vote might have been in vain. Remember that.

So what exactly is the problem with this communication "What does Brexit mean for you?" Does it say nothing will change at the moment or your that world is about to be consumed by fire breathing dragons.:scratchhead:

i would love to link to the documents but they are on out Intra-net so thats out at the moment.
Its the the subtle suggestion that we are almost being readied to be pushed off a cliff into a pit of said dragons!
We have lots of EU nationals as staff and many of them are poorly informed about what is going to change in the short/medium/long term.
It adds to their concern rather than promoting the message "Nothing will change until Article 50 is triggered".

Maybe I have a simplistic view but focusing on the positives has to be better than questioning/doubting the will of the democratic majority.

The most likely cliff with a pit of dragons has got to be privatisation, which is already happening. The one thing TM has got wrong was not removing Jeremy Hunt, if only to pacify the staff.

sounds like "vested interests of the hierarchy" .Just like the other nationalised services
there are massive efficiency problems, blaming brexit helps to mask them/ divert attention.

Our 2 local villages used to be served by 1 doctor and a nurse, everybody turning up to the surgery was seen and tended to there and then, Now its a team of doctors and staff, difficult to even be able to get the phone snswered for an appointment. go to A&E and the entrance clogged up with expensive ambulance staff waiting to pass their patients on, and endless staff walking round with clipboards
