*as thread title , is rp 12 and rp120 the same ?, thinking of swapping out our rp12 ,didnt realise there was one in middle of rp12 and the 220 , presume its string tie which is ok for us as we only do 50-60 bales a year

An old thread but anyone care to put a value on a 120? Narrow pickup and twine only. It’s all there and works, have the lower guard for it aswell

I got 2.5k for my RP200, which I think went for export. Not familiar with the 120 but looks much the same minus autolube. Doesn’t seem to have a year on it, unusual for welger.

It’s a much smaller/lighter baler with narrow pickup and string only
My 200 was string only and narrow pickup. It was 2t tare against your 1900 kg so not a huge difference.
I’ve still got my RP12 as a backup (emergency!) and my fella reckons it’s still worth 1k
A few years ago the Poles would have been snapping it up. Narrow pick up and string was their holy grail
Yes I think my baler went a bit further east!

When I was selling our class 46 it was worth less with net than if it had string

I think it's worth 2k.
If it does the job and in decent nick why would you sell it for less.
£500 isn't worth scratching your arse with these days.
Bloody pto shaft is probably worth more than £500 and I know a guy will pay £400 for decent wheels and axles.

Plus if you paid 2k for it you might actually look after it...
