Is this a eurohead on my loader :)

Hi All!
I have recently got a second hand Massey with a 941 loader. I just went to get a bale handler at the front (Euro bracket)

The problem I have is that even though this looks like a euro attachment head, the pin at the bottom is stepped and is 28mm. This means that it doesnt lock in correctly for the bottom pin when the bale handler is attached.

From my knowledge the Euro eye hole is fixed to take 20mm pins

Really trying to figure out what my options are now

That’s the same as mine I think, there’s 2 bits that attach either side on the top to pick up mx attachments,I’ve only used euro stuff, never had a problem, used every day
Thanks Chas.

I'm guessing the attachment you had were able to take the bigger pin? The fella I bought it off also never had a problem but I'm guessing the newer stuff has the 20mm eye hole for euro.

I looked at my attachments last night. The genuine stoll bucket and muck grab that came with the loader have smaller pin holes than the stuff with brackets that I've welded on. The bigger holes are maybe 26mm, I couldn't fit a 28mm lower link pin through them.

Yeah this is similar to what I have heard the euro eye hole can take about 25mm pins but not bigger. There was 5 mm play.

It's gone into the shop to be sorted so will update after. Should be sorted middle of next week.

Great assistance from all here on this item.

That is a euro headstock with maillieux conversion kit readiness. We had one 10 years ago. Don't drill out the Euro hitches, either live with it or machine the headstock pins. FYI there are two heavy steel hooks that hang on the top rail that are secured by a pin below so they can accept maillieux attachments.
