Is Vaderstad worth the extra money?

Another vote for Dalbo here, we went to look at a set of second hand 12 m cousins sidewinder, traveled some way to see them and tractor driver couldn't get them to unfold, manager had to come and show us how to unfold as pins and bushes had worn and it just needed a bit of abuse to get them to unfold.
In conversation we found out these rolls had done a lot of work and asked them what the were buying and apparently a set of Dalbo where on there way,
We did a bit of homework and bought ourselves a new set of Dalbo 12. 3 m rolls, cost us 18.5 k 3 years ago
Yes I would buy another set

Used to run vaderstad rollers and they were good have the best bearings esp in stoney ground. Went cousins and forever cracking rings so moved onto dalbo and they have been good but still smash an odd ring and sometimes a bearing goes but better than the cousins. But the cousins was from 10 yrs ago so hopefully using better rings. We are in min till to direct drilling and some very Stoney land.

A set of HE VA 6m 24’’ rings here, build in the last century, they’ve hit gate posts, fence posts and various other bits of scenery and are still in one piece, no new bearings, no new rings, the only thing they’ve had is grease.
The only thing I’ll say about Vaderstad’s is their light.

I bought a New set earlier this year & heck they were missing 5 breaker rings !!! how did that leave quality control you wonder!
All sorted thankfully but yes there dearer blah blah blah but when my previous set lasted 25yr & never had a single bearing or cambs/breaker ring replaced not once
you go & buy another set don't you.
i'll put money on every other brand needing bearings & rings replacing much much sooner than the Vaddys ever do.
There the equ of the Fendt Tractor in Rollers
Thats my views on them.
How can you afford a new set of rollers?!!!

e're pricing ring rollers at the minute.
My preference would be Vaderstad, for nothing other than the name, but are they worth the 40% extra price over other makes? He Va, Dal Bo, Watson etc

How can you afford a new set of rollers?!!!
There not as dear as a Fendt
and ive had 25yrs too save up remember ;)
Dunno how Bobs got a mention in my reply
