Isobus Socket

I need to plug a Vaderstad Rapid in to my Case 7250. It has an isobus socket, my tractor doesn’t. I don’t need a screen as it’s all done on an iPad. Is there a socket available that plugs in to the drill plug just to provide 12v? Thanks

Just get a female isobus socket, wire it to the battery then plug the drill in. Used to do this with spud harvesters as they draw quite abit of power and melted most others we tried

The only female sockets I’ve found are the ‘full monty’ ones for about £200. I was just wondering if there were any cheaper alternatives that just do the power. Being tight basically.

No idea if they do them but RS Components are always worth a look for plugs and electronics, also Farnell. I would guess the same plug is used for something else.

You have a vaddy with an iPad yet you are penny pinching on the most important machine in your crop establishment cost.... the machine needs good clean power not a cheap bodge... how much will you spend on diesel, on seed... the correct iso 11783 socket will be pennies in comparison

By male, you are taking about the pin gender. Cheap iso Plugs will drive you mad. They will disconnect over they bump when you aren’t looking or when it’s about to rain. It will there 5 mins to reboot everything.
buy a good iso loom and plug. I have one for €450 euro ( heavyduty direct to battery cables and break off cable to cab iso plug. ) it will take you a few hours to fit correctly . But it won’t fail and will last Years

It’s looking like that’s the route I’ll have to take, but €450 isn’t pennies when all those other costs you mention still remain.
