If any who know him, lose any nearest and dearest after reading or listening to his clap trap, I wouldn't bet too much on the survival of his business.

The people who die to the normal flue are generally in their final year of life and the flu takes them out. This Covid virus is taking out all age groups , the older you are the better a chance it has of taking you out , or if your immune system is down at all from any other treatment you might of had then it can take you out easier , this virus is also destroying your lungs and a lot of people who are recovered now have very poor lung capacity , I’ve heard of fit young people now needing lung transplants, We all want to live as long as possible and the best chance of doing that is to avoid this virus. That other clown @ gone up the hill won’t answer my question that I asked him three times , is he prepared to die for the good of the economy .
It shows just how good our health care system has become that it can save the lives of many people that live longer then they ordinarly would. The issue appears that we have been attacked by a virus that we can't control/combat easily. People are not happy about this as not all people can be saved that could previously.

not all can be saved but more can be saved if they don't all get it at once

“NHS NIGHTINGALE HOSPITAL”
4000 beds for acutely ill patients with a contagious / airborne virus under one roof sharing the same airspace.

Can any vet or livestock farmer foresee a problem ?

The ventilation will have been carefully thought out, won’t it ?

USA joins the 700 club with 709 deaths on 31/3/20

World daily total now more than 4,300 which I am imagining as a fair sized village/small town.
Final USA deaths yesterday are 912 . What a world we are living in now.

Up to now Trump hasn't offered condolences to the bereaved . He's suggested health workers are stealing masks , and that New York can't possibly need 40,000 ventilators , and that he won't help states that have Democratic governors who aren't " nice " to him.

Oh and keeps bumming about his TV ratings - for his press conferences- because clearly that's what really matters in this disaster.

What they need is an inch of peat bedding on the floor , we bed calves and yearlings with peat and virus can’t survive in it, we never get a calf coughing or with pneumonia . It mightn’t look great but it would work.

Not a huge problem no. Except I wouldn't be mad keen on working there.

Placing people who are already very sick beside lots of other people with the same disease isn't going to make much difference. Farming situation is the reverse. You are trying to keep the one diseased animal out of the other healthy 3999.

The others aren't healthy in those hospitals though, or they wouldn't be there in the first place. They will have SARS before being allocated a bed there.
