This year some of our usually bad BG fields are very clean and some of our fields that are usually clean are pretty bad with BG . There is no pattern to it at all

If the stuff is deadly thick, spray off squares or even whole tramlines now.
Prepare a plan for the ground post combine now. I guess belt and braces could be scratch, roll. Let it green up, spray off any green, plough it properly in good conditions and even consider a spring crop?
Only the outside swath on one headland , if I burn the straw and stubble will that give it a headache

we have two patches of rye grass now because of that exactly where bsler dropped first two bales and a bit round the headland
sprayed it off first time it’s now beet and had c max
we will see what pops up in wheat next year when sown again will be nuked again
