Does anyone have a scrap 8045.25 engine with a rocker cover like this?

part number 99452321

Breather has worn very loose in this one and fiat changed the part number to a new style but it does not fit as it hits the turbo plus the breather on the new one is plastic so will melt anyway.

Fiat cant help so looking for a used one or I got to try and do something with this old one.

its off a LM430/LM410 handler the yellow ones if anyone knows of one breaking for parts?

Thanks.

Just spent ages cleaning it so a friend can have a play with his new to him tig welder:wideyed::unsure:

been offered another cover but got no hole in it for breather at all just a blank cover which although not ideal could be a back up plan:unsure:

What about TL or TLA or other tractors maybe?

Dont know. Version of it are used in tractors as the one i was offered was off a tractor but dont know model.
There seems to be many variations of the cover though. Some will filler some with out. Some with breather some not. And it seems its more common for breather to be in the middle not above no 1 cylinder were i want it.

Out of interest, is that a customers job or is that one of your reconditioned handlers which could potentially available for sale?

No its a customers machine. But i do have a lm410 as my yard machine that could be a contender if your keen! No real intention to move it on but if the deals right then anythings possible(y)

Will have a look through my spares tomorrow, I may still have some parts.they were fitted to some of the barford forward tip dumpers,sx6000 etc

its being welded in the morning hopefully but you cant beat a back up plan, plus this is a problem I have seen before on the LM handlers so one for stock at the right money wont hurt.
