Ivermectin scab treatment

I am going to be treating some in lamb ewes for scab with ivermectin. Do they need moving onto clean pasture after the first or the second injection 1 week later?
Thanks

Fingers crossed, went off vets recommendation as it’s my first time dealing with it. How long after treatment until I should know if it’s done the job?

It might not suit your circumstances, but dipping em is a far better bet.

Yes unfortunately this doesn’t suit the circumstances. No dipping set up here and only 30 or so that are still separate from the main flock after being bought in.

If there are only 30, can you get some Cydectin LA 2% inj from somewhere? 110 day meat withdrawal but only one jab and no need to move them as persistent enough to outlast any scab mites.

As above though, lots of scab getting resistant to ivermectin, which will only accelerate with everyone that tries jabbing them only to find some surviving (effectively selecting for the resistant mites).
But yes, i’d Give it a try first too, particularly for a small group.
