IW gates

I've been looking for extensions for the ramp gates on a dp120 for a while now (the ones that hooknon the sides when not using them), only found a few and they're other end of the country, looking for a sheep deck divider gate too.

Anyone know where I could find them? All websites I find have all the spares and brackets, but not the gates themselves.

Would they be a pain to shut in a hurry to stop the stock coming back out of the trailer, you would have to unhook the extension before shutting the main ramp gate by which time the animals have turned and legged it back out the trailer.

Think you can shut one gate then take extension off. Try your local iw trailer dealer

Why not pop in to Matt Plowman and ask him to make you something? Be better thought out too............

Price in 16/17 was £170 for a dp120 extension gates.

Ramp extension gate for dp is £185 about 4 foot long for a ta 1 it's £145 about 2 foot long Small dividing gate is £95. All prices off Ifor site so from dealer could expect a bit of discount

Depends where you are, Paxtons at Northallerton sell IW and Ripon farm services do too.

Yea Ripon trailer centre at Ripon supply trailers but sales men at kildwick can do the deal. Also guy machinery at gisburn is the local supplier

Ours have been in shed from day 2 for that exact reason!!

Well yes, and maybe the cattle dividing gate that’s also in shed!!

With the sheep deck divider gate it`s worth making certain you get the right one. I once got one for 5` wide IW trailer and the "knowledgeable" dealer gave me the wrong one (and took some telling too!!!) - there`d been an update to the trailer ...
If ordering from an IW dealer give them the trailer serial number when placing order.
