What sort of coolant temperatures are people getting with the ad blue engined Deeres?
Just picked up my new one and it got up to 100 .C on the 15 min drive home .....never had one run that hot ...normal or faulty?

And the new gauge could be a bit eager, its really only and indication/comparison.
Good luck with the new motor ............

hmmm it seems that John Deere have decided to run the latest 6155 r's 15-20 degrees hotter by downgrading the fan. my previous 6155R runs at 85-86.C ...why on earth would they deliberately want to run them so hot?

Maybe an attempt to ensure a cleaner burn and reduce some emissions? Just a guess though.

Just drove my new 155 home at snail speed after temp hit 100, thought there was something wrong but appears to be what they are like! Hydraulic temp at 75 seem high too

Absolutely normal unfortunately. My 6175r runs at 98-100 on roadwork, 102-103 when working hard in the field.
Any build up of debris on the rad screens and up she goes.:(.
Cheapest way for deere to get a cleaner burn methinks:banghead:

Just had a reversed drive fan fitted on mine, that seems to have brought the temperature down to 84-85 rather than around the 100 mark, only downside it is a little bit noisier because it is fixed !

But hes's getting a drop of 15 degrees, or am I missing something?
No your not missing anything ;) JD appear to have decided, for better or worse, to make the latest units run significantly hotter. I suppose its too early to tell whether there would be any impacts on long term durability of the engine (and presumably hydraulics/transmissions if their fluids are equally running quite a few degrees warmer).

I can wrap my head around the fact that they could be doing it to boost combustion temps, hence efficiency. But not sure if its necessarily a fair thing to make customers spend the better part of £2.5K to have the same cooling performance as they had on previous models. So its not really an improvement, per se, its about standing still.

Just my opinion.
