Looking at piece of equipment from J R Firby North Yorkshire, are they a good reputable company to deal with, and do they give a good honest description over the phone?
Thanks.

Very good to deal with, dads last two combines have come from him unseen , last one had stone damage to it and Richard sent photos of everything damaged and I think he even put up a few spare parts for it too. When we got the combine everything was as Richard had described it. Seems to be very willing to help any time dads been on the phone to him since as well (y)

Got shirty his rep when asked about buying stuff once and credit card payment etc. having never bought off them and not ever had dealing with them!
"We are main underwriters for machinery", we were told ,what ever that is?
Just left them to it ,bought else where.
Looks a lot of reasonable priced stuff there on their web pages always.

Bought a JD sprayer off him its been spot on. He was great to deal with, rang him on the mobile, he said pop down have a look, I did and bought it on the spot. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

Good bloke couldn't do a deal on a tractor few years ago but would happily go back and buy from him..that lane tho is something else and I've never seen as many different machines in one place worth a visit if you can.

I’ve bought a couple of bits off him over the years,he did actually tell me a tractor I was looking at wasn’t for me,could quite easily palmed it off on me.

As posted go and look.
