The consensus seemed to be, that white for wedding cars is a bit boring and old-fashioned?
And the white symbolises purity and innocence... emm....

But yes that's a nice Bentley, I have one here similar which I started to fix up but it's got forgotten about, still worth what I paid for it as parts..

I wonder what that one will make?

I'm watching this although I would need to find bumpers and springs:rolleyes: as well as respray, so probably not worthwhile - oh and I'd need to remove the roof bars:wtf: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141971677079?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT :ROFLMAO:

And wire mesh, to stop the lights getting broke ...........
Is the white Bentley "down" because its on air suspension or are they like that on the road?

Must just be the suspension I would think, they are a sort of hydra gas developed in conjunction with Citroen, use green 'LM' mineral fluid. I will check but I thought they had normal steel springs on the front and the hydro was only on the back, but that one looks 'down' all around.

Are you tempted:) I bought my Rolls from a guy who was a builder or joiner, he only had it because he liked it, but his wife didn't like going out in it because she didn't like being looked at by everyone:rolleyes:

(not taken today, although it has been snow showers this week)

Always tempted, but the head/bank usually says no ...............
I wouldn't have the patience to do the weddings and the neighbour next door has that one covered, anyway. Good that you have little or no competitors in your area. How did you get around the car stopping with the bride in residence, reduced fees or a freebee?
Didn't know about the "Citroen type suspension" in the Bentley probably adjustable for the drivers seat.
That's a proper Roller you have in the picture, the older ones hold their value well ..........
You have a fair collection ...............

It was at the registrar's in the centre of Aberdeen, I was also there with a group of the family in the mini-bus so I had to leave them and go pick up the bride:oops::oops: It could have been [a little] worse, it broke down in the outskirts of town and he was able to get in to the side of the road. Yes I think it was a freebie...

Re the suspension - for possibly the first time on TFF, here are a couple of the 202 pages in the hardback book, 'The handbook for the Silver Shadow Long Wheelbase Saloon', 1970:

Well I'd be mortified ............
Reading your scan I see the suspension even levels itself when passengers get in/out amazing when you think that's a 1970 model ............
