I saw that posted by Newark on their FB site. Sounds quite serious. There wasn't any background as to how it happened e.g. at work or privately

He's put so much in to the sheep sales up there and , of course, I wish him a speedy and full recovery

Yep. Sentiments like that often bandied about, but a genuine top bloke. Work hard for the vendor, knows his market & a very honest accurate critique of your lambs. Highly regarded & hoping for only good things.

He was happy to be the Guest Auctioneer at the Lincolnshire YFC "Mock Auction" last autumn.
A genuine, helpful guy, who was interested in all aspects of farming.

Thank you for all your kind comments and wishes, it is really touching and James will be very touched when he reads these. We won't know much more until after the weekend when he will see the neuro rehab consultant again. As and when I know anything I will update on here, the Newark facebook page and his own timeline. I knew James at Thrapston and I'm sorry to hear this has happened for both of you.

Good news. Hospitals are great places but there's nothing better than coming home. Wishing you both all the very best.
