in fairness to @Janet Hughes Defra , she did contribute considerably to some threads in the New Year and leading into April.
However, it does seem strange that things have gone so quiet from DEFRA regarding the SFI .
You are right, we do need updates, above all just to confirm that the SFI/ELMS is still a cornerstone of DEFRA policy.
Secondly, we would like confirmation that our voices have been listened to please. (both on here and in the co-design projects,)
Sf1 has been quietly shredded

It really doesn’t bother me, it’s a pittance in the grand scheme. I just don’t want want to spend my taxpayer money on ‘permanent pasture’. I wonder if my garden qualifies?

It bothered you when you thought it was coming your way, all your bullish posts last year when you thought it was heading the way of DD.

It really didn’t. If they want to sling cash my way for DD then great, il have it. If not then I really don’t care. The whole reason we do what we do is to be completely subsidy free. If money comes our way for it it a a great extra, for example…..
the £100/ha on private carbon markets and £124/ha I can earn from CS cover crops is a nice little bonus for my spring crops.
