JCB 130 excavator

I have a JS130 2013 the auto idler keeps playing up after it has been running for three quarters of an hour the engine keeps fading and going to tick over ,sometimes if you switch it off it’s ok again for a bit but then starts fading again

Any ideas

Think its a magnetic plunger on the pump ,could be losing power to it or a bad earth.
as its fly by wire ,it likely to be electrical

You sure its the auto idler and not the throttle that needs recalibrating ?, if you take it out of “auto“ is it still the same in the other modes ?.

yes its the same in other modes doesn’t make any difference if you Push the auto idler button to off

Sounds like a failing magnet on a solenoid .
They tend to get worse when they heat up .

Ok is it a new solenoid or replace magnet
