JCB 2cx gearbox problem

I have chance of a 2cx at the right money but it has a gearbox fault. As soon as you start the engine it wants to go in reverse. Moving the shuttle lever forwards or backwards makes no difference it is also dropping oil onto the floor. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem with it might be? Thanks.

Could be wiring issue, gasket failed underneath solenoids or clutch packs burnt out and warped so dragging.

I image its very tight for room under there! I know a man that will rebuild transmission for you and dyno test it if you want to get it out.
