Jcb 2cx problem

I've got a 2cx that blows the ESOS/engine shutdown fuse. I have changed the stop solenoid which hasn't made any difference. It's an intermittent fault as it will work fine for days and then it could blow 2 or 3 fuses in one day. Anyone know where the problem could be?

Could be a short on the live wire somewhere from the ignition switch to the stop solenoid.

Rubbed through wiring loom somewhere. My guess would be along chassis rail on same side as the stop solenoid.

depending on age of machine etc.
We had the forward/reverse wire rub through just under the cab floor.
On floor, there is a metal plate beneath brake pedal - took that off and it had rubbed there.
Ours is a 1994 machine.
