Needing an extra loader for this summer. Always fancied a shovel as they are so much more over engineered than telehandler. Anyone any experience of a 414s with a Toe Tip. Currently have a TM310 with a 3.5 cube bucket which holds approx. 2.4T of wheat and fills a lorry in around 12-13 buckets. I would ideally like to be quicker not slower so would need a min of a 3.5 cube toe tip.

JCB 418s shovel here with a toe tip bucket on does a good job

416 with a toe tip or similar works well and I have driven similar before. I just wonder if a clam shell might be even better as you aren't having to lift the load up higher and further to empty it.

Loading shovel pretty effortless compared to a telehandler in the main. May be my memory (going back a bit now) but never seemed to need as much go pedal compared to a telehandler, either.
