jcb 526-56 wont start

took out injectors and got tested and 4 were stuck, want to take out rail and hp pump and get checked,
removed rail but hp pump seems not too straight forward, to remove pump the gear has to be taken off,
there is no room between to gain access to the blanking plate, does anyone know has the engine to be taken out
to get the fuel hp pump out

If it is the standard JCB Engine, there is a kit to do it, plus modified spanners- had one done in a 531-70 std machine a few months ago - not familiar with layout in your 525-56 - but any local man who works on JCB should have the know how and tools. The latching valve had failed on mine but he took the pump off anyway to change - interesting to see the procedure - very little access - but with the know how straightforward enough - took about 6 hours - not common rail on mine so maybe different.
