Hey!
can anyone tell me anymore about this machine? Is it any good?
I may have the opportunity to pick up one that’s been lay up a while a needs some electrical work. What would be a fair price for one not currently in running condition (ballpark) that’s a bit battered. But physically looks functional. Havnt looked too deeply into it other than the model. I’ve been told it got parked because of electrical issues

It could take €100 to €10,000 to fix it , so it’s hard to value it at anything above breaking value.

Some electrical work on a machine of that age couldn't be that difficult or complicated tbh. However it would make me wonder why it wasn't sorted at the time, electrical bit could be the least of the problems with it.

unless you know exactly what's wrong with it then treat it as scrap value. you may be opening a can of worms! Probably laid up for a good reason, like its knackered and not worth fixing cause there are other more serious problems.

Yea I agree, and I’ve lots of friends who are Electricians so they could give me a hand.
I am very good friends with the owner and we have known him for years. All his machines are a bit battered but running. But he’s no electrician. From what I gather the jcb was stuck in crabbing steering mode or something and would not steer properly.
and I think it’s been lay up since. Lots of the wiring around the steering wheel is pulled out (where the control for different steering options are). I think he just pulled the wiring out, couldn’t fix it and kind of gave up. He has loads of other pieces of equipment He’s bought over the years so doesn’t really miss the use of it/ I know he has some big enough medical issues which probably prevent him from doing more with it.
