JCB 535-60 JUMPING OUT OF 3RD GEAR

Hi all, we have a JCB 536-60, when travelling on the road every 10 seconds or so just jumps back down to 2nd gear from 3rd, does it regardless of weather or not it is in auto. any help would be very much appreciated.

might be the twist grip gear change or maybe a loose wire on solenoid or a failing solenoid?
