JCB 535/95 HEATER, NOT VERY WARM.

The cab heater doesn't get very warm possibly because the engine doesn't get very warm. My question is, where is the thermostat in the cooling system as I cannot find it, does it even have one?

Is the water filled up to the limit even a little bit makes a difference

thermostat is in the top of the cylinder head under the top rad hose. some idiot probably removed it Also check the heater tap is working properly, and do you have air flow? depending on model there could be a second filter? and one i had recently had to slide the whole heater box out from the cab and clean it out. think that one also had a hidden second filter too? either way it was blocked real bad!
