Would anyone know is it possible to stop the forklift dropping a gear when reverse is selected. So if in third going forward and then shuttle to reverse it drops to 2. Is it possible to get the machine to stay i same gear. 2018 541-70 ag Loadall

Not familiar with that gearbox but I know that the Cat 6x3 gets its gear numbers by having 3 gears and 2 forward + 1 reverse clutch packs, with overlap in the forward gears so in 3rd reverse might actually be the same gear as 4f. There may be no direct reverse gear to 3f, hence the drop down
